The tower is attached to the end of the reformer but with a mat replacing the moving carriage, this means that all exercises are now done on a stationary surface, like the original mat work, but now we use springs to create resistance as well as using boxes/arcs to also add to the challenge. Expect lots of spinal articulation, deep stabilising work, strong core and glute work using the leg and arm springs and getting the body to move in all directions, your spine will thank you for this!

All our tower teachers are trained in mat Pilates initially so they have a deep understanding of all the Pilates principles and how to get the most out of the towers, our small classes help to give superb attention and direction.

As the towers are new to the studio, we will be running classes that are open level, so we can cater to both beginners and those who are more experienced in Pilates. We will be slowly introducing more Tower classes as and when we feel it is appropriate, so please keep checking our current schedule.

Open to both beginners and those with more Pilates experience.

• Thursdays - 5.30pm

• Fridays - 1pm
